RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing and Procurement:
• Establish and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Develop sourcing strategies to ensure goods and services' best value and quality.
• Implement standardized procurement processes and best practices.
Distribution and Replenishment:
• Oversee the distribution network to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to enterprise locations.
• Implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficient replenishment processes.
Process Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions and improve supply chain performance.
Leadership and Team Development:
• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Commitment to fostering collaborative working relationships; ability to create positive relationships to establish rapport and influence with various interest groups and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably in a retail & hospitality environment and a minimum of two years in a leadership role.
• Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Commerce or related field; a specialization in supply chain management is preferred.
• Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) is considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, procurement strategies, and inventory management.
• Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analytics tools.
• Proven problem solving resolution and analytical skills.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 is an asset.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, ERP and computer skills.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work in an Innovative, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support supply chain operations across various locations.
• A criminal record check and confidentiality agreement are required for this position.
