General Maintenance Technician
The General Maintenance Technician is a multi-site, hands-on role responsible for day-to-day building maintenance, preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and general upkeep across our Edmonton and surrounding-area venues. This role ensures all locations remain safe, functional, and welcoming for both guests and team members. The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver who can complete repairs in-house whenever practical, while recognizing when specialized or licensed trades are required.
What will you be doing?
As a General Maintenance Technician, you will manage day-to-day building maintenance and routine repairs across multiple venues in the Edmonton area. Your hands-on tasks will include drywall patching, painting, minor carpentry, flooring repairs, and fixing commercial door hardware. You will also tackle basic plumbing and electrical issues, conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards, and escalate complex repairs to specialized contractors. Additionally, you will manage maintenance work orders digitally, take accurate notes and photos, and ensure all work areas remain clean and safe for guests and staff.
What do you bring?
You bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial building maintenance, construction, or handyman work, along with a strong mechanical aptitude for basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs. As this is a multi-site role, a valid Driver's Licence, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation are essential. You are physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working both indoors and outdoors throughout the year. Finally, you bring strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a focus on prioritizing tasks based on safety and operational impact.
Construction Finisher
We are looking for a Finisher for our Construction department to maintain a high-throughput finishing pipeline while upholding a defect-free quality standard. You will serve as a vital link between the assembly team and final delivery, ensuring that custom projects move through the shop efficiently, safely, and without production bottlenecks. Furthermore, we need an individual who will always live by our Core Values and lead every interaction with our company purpose: "Be The Place People Want To Be".
What do you bring?
You bring 3+ years of experience in the trade, or hold a current status as a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice. You possess strong multitasking and organizational abilities, alongside problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise. You excel at time management, schedule adherence, order prioritization, and resource allocation. With your keen attention to detail, you are driven to maximize production efficiency.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will prepare all wood surfaces by sanding and filling imperfections to ensure a completely flawless base. You will be responsible for performing precision color matching to guarantee that all stains and paints meet the exact specifications of custom cabinetry. Your daily tasks will include applying protective and decorative coats to the woodwork using professional spraying or hand-application techniques.
You will also thoroughly inspect the completed project to ensure the final finish meets the highest quality standards. Your key performance objective is to maintain a minimum 98% defect-free rate on high-end millwork pieces prior to delivery, while balancing production efficiency, maintenance, safety, and technical versatility. Your standard work hours will be 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise determined by the needs of the Business.
This role is based at our Shop location (13040 148 St NW, Edmonton).
